Isometric Paper
1. Draw the triangles given on the list by using the auxiliary dots on the paper and the 90° angle provided as a reference tool. Indicate whether it is possible to draw them. If you think it is impossible to draw the given triangle, explain why.
2. Based on your drawings and previous work, try to make 3 generalizations.
3.1. In these set of exercises, there are three line segments of specific lengths. Construct triangles by using the line segments.
3.2. What if two of the line segments are equal in length? Can we still create a triangle? Try to construct a triangle using the line segments below with the length of 5cm-5cm-7cm.
3.3. Now try to construct a triangle using the line segments below with the length of 4cm-4cm-6cm.
3.4. What if two all three line segments are equal in length? Try to construct a triangle using the line segments below with the length of 8 cm-8 cm-8 cm.
3.5. Next, try to construct a triangle using the line segments below with the length of 3 cm-3 cm-3cm.
3.6. Think about your constructions and come up with ideas.
