Please follow the instructions and use the isometric paper as a tool in your inquiry.
1. Draw the triangles instructed below by using the auxiliary dots on the paper and 90° angle provided as a reference tool.
1.1. A triangle with all angles smaller than the 90° angle (acute angles) provided
1.2. Another triangle with all angles smaller than the 90° angle but one that seems to have different angle measures compared to the one you drew
1.3. A triangle having one angle exactly the same as the 90° angle
1.4. A triangle having two angles greater than 90°
1.5. A triangle having one angle greater than the 90° angle (obtuse angle)
1.6. A triangle having two 90° angles - Etkinliği tamamlayın

LO22. Determining the sum of the measures of the interior angles of triangles and quadrilaterals
- View
What are the angles of the triangle? Observe the sum as you change the triangle and angles of it by moving a vertex.
- Etkinliği tamamlayın
First investigate the GeoGebra activity given above. Manipulate the vertices (move vertices) to create different triangles and observe how the sum of angles changes (on the right side of activity).
After experimenting with GeoGebra then complete the questions here.

Let's see why it’s 180 degrees for all triangles.
Create rotated triangles by dragging parameters. Observe how interior angles becomes "colinear".
Move the vertices of the triangle on GeoGebra activity for justification, and observe how three angles always stays collinear.

Drag the points A,B,C,D, and construct different quadrilaterals.
Observe the change of the interior angles.
For each quadrilateral that you constructed, calculate the sum of interior angles.
